The Golfer Problem
Until Covid-19 some two million people started golfing each year in the US, and some two million golfers quit the sport.
This high level of turnover or "churn" is fed by time constraints, rising costs, and the complexity of the sport itself.
Problem #1 - Five hours for a round of golf
Your Paragraph text goes Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit. Autem dolore, alias, numquam enim ab voluptate id quam harum ducimus cupiditate similique quisquam et deserunt, recusandae. here
Problem #2 - Rising cost to play golf
A full set of decent golf clubs will run $300 to $1200. High quality clubs much more. Add in golf shoes, range finders, good golf balls and you're looking at hundreds more. Then green fees and golf carts. Traditional golf takes serious cash to play.
Problem #3 - Complexity to master the sport, and the rules of play
The Updated Rules of Golf from the USGA is one hundred and thirty four pages long. And that's not counting the seventy-four definitions needed to understand them. And that's just the rules. Protocol and good behavior add layers and layers. No wonder so many new golfers quit each year
Solution #1 - You can play by the minute, save your round for later, with as little as 30 minutes of fun at a time.
One of the biggest advantages of playing on world class golf simulators is you can play any of the 85 courses, and any holes. Three holes of Pebble followed by three holes of Royal Melbourne?
Solution #2 - A Links Golf Cafe has world class golf clubs and golf balls (and you never lose them!)
The rising cost of golf club memberships, golf equipment and even golf balls limit the sport to those with significant money to spend. A Links Golf Cafe opens the sport up to millions of others that would play if it was affordable.
Solution #3 - Can play without worrying about the "group behind you", and focus on fun.
In 2021 for the very first time there are half as many golfers that don't golf on golf courses ever, as golfers that do. This massive shift to "non-traditional venues" like simulators and TopGolf style driving ranges are opening millions to golf.
